It seems to us at Jaguar Birmingham that our buds over at MotorWeek quite simply cannot get enough of our beloved British brand. Just last month, we shared with you their (largely laudatory) review of the automaker's full-size sedan, the XJL.

Today, however, they turn their sights to Jaguar's superstar sports car, the 2017 F-TYPE. Check the clip below to get an eye- and earful:

On the base and Premium trims, the F-TYPE is fitted with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. Rated at a robust 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, we've little doubt most motorists will find the base six-banger sufficiently brawny.

But what if you don't quite consider yourself amongst "most motorists?" Enter: the range-topping SVR model. Motivated by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8, the SVR musters a truly mammoth 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

To learn more about this spiffy speedster, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our Birmingham, AL location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the F-TYPE, or any other Jaguar model within the current lineup.
